CTiContRol® for Google Workspace privacy policy

Your privacy is important to us. This privacy statement explains what personal data CALLTECH PROCESSING TECHNOLOGIES S.A. (hereinafter CALLTECH S.A.) collects, how is treated and for what purposes.

CTiContRol® for Google Workspace is a suite of various components, RTC (Real Time Communications) applications and APIs integration that extend the functionality of some Google GSuite applications to integrate the customer’s unified communications platform with Google’s collaboration tools.

It is a cloud solution that allows you to use the communications infrastructure that companies currently own and integrates seamlessly with any phone system.

Data we collect

Calltech S.A. collects data about you, through our interactions with you and our products. You provide some of this data directly, and we obtain others by collecting data about your interactions, use, and experiences with our services. The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with third parties such as Google and the different interaction applications of this server such as Gmail, Google contacts directory, Google Docs, Spreadsheets and Presentation and Google Meet Chat or the choices you make, including the ones regarding your privacy settings and the products and features you use. We also collect data about you from third parties in our application.

You have choice options regarding the technology you use and the data you share. When you are asked to provide personal data, you can refuse it. Many of our services require some personal data in order to provide you with a service. If you choose not to provide the data required to provide you with a service and/or product or feature, you will not be able to use that product or feature.

Similarly, when we need to collect personal data for legal reasons, to enter into a contract with you or fulfill it and you do not provide the data, we will not be able to enter into the contract; or, if this is related to an existing service you are using, we may need to suspend or cancel it. In due course, we will notify you when appropriate. When providing the data is optional and you decide not to share personal data, the features that use such data, such as personalization, will not work for you.

Information from your Google account. With a Google account, you can log into the CTiContRol® application, as well as those of certain Google partners. Personal data associated with your Google Gmail account includes credentials, name and contact details, payment details, devices and data usage, your contacts, microphones, camera, information about your activities, interests and favorites. Logging into your Google account enables consistent and personalization experiences across products and devices, enables you to use cloud data storage, enables you to make calls, interactions, and enhance collaborative and real-time communications capabilities using stored instruments on your account and also enables other functions.

Messages. The preservation and storage of your voice and fax messages will be subject to the parameterization that you as a user make on your data and information, as well as the frequency and updating of backup copies within the platform.

Calls. The registration of your calls will be subject to the personal parameterization that you as a user make on your data and information, as well as the frequency and update of backup copies within the platform.

Backups. The backup service will be subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement entered with you or the entity you represent, subject to the availability of the service in the available versions.

Use and registration information. We collect performance, diagnostic and service related information. This includes information about your activity (such as how you use our services, how you interact with others through our services, and similar data), log files, as well as reports and performance, website, faults, and diagnostic logs.

Transaction information. If you make a subscription payment for our services, we may receive information and confirmations, such as payment receipts, including those from the app stores or third parties that process your payment.

Connection and device information. We collect information specific to your device when you install, access, or use our services. This includes information such as hardware model, operating system information, browser information, IP address, and mobile network information, including the phone number and device identifiers. We collect information about the location of your device.

Information provided by third parties. You receive information that other people provide, which may include information about you. For example, when others become part of the contact list of other Google Google Workspace accounts, users you know use our services, can provide your phone number from the contact list of your Google account (just as you can provide theirs), or they can contact you, send messages to the groups to which you belong or call you.

Third party services. We allow you to use our services in relation to third-party services, to receive information about your information and data from them. For example, in the service of calls to share with your contacts, groups or lists of diffusion in our services. When using our services, you must take into account the conditions and privacy policies that govern the use of said services.

Use of personal data

Calltech S.A. uses the data it collects to:

  1. Provide our services, including updating, protecting and troubleshooting, as well as providing technical support. It also includes sharing data, when necessary to provide the service or carry out the transactions you request.
  2. Improve and develop our services, platforms, software and the application.
  3. Personalize our services and make recommendations.
  4. Advertise and offer you updates.
  5. We also use the data to operate our business, including analyzing our performance, complying with our legal obligations, developing our work capacity, and conducting research.

To this end, we combine the data we collect from different contexts or obtain from third parties to offer you better, consistent and personalized services, to make informed business decisions, and for other legitimate purposes.

Specifically

Our services. We operate and provide our services, including offering customer service, as well as improving, solving, and customizing our services. We understand how users use our services and we analyze and use the information we have to evaluate and improve our services, research, develop and test new services and features, and carry out activities to solve problems with our services. We also use your information to respond to your complaints, claims and recommendations when you contact us.

We use cookies. Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be read by a web server in the domain that placed the cookie. We use cookies and similar technologies such as localstorage to store and track your preferences and settings, enabling you to log in, providing interest-based advertising, fighting fraud, analyzing how our products work, and serving other legitimate purposes.

You have several tools available to control the data collected by cookies and similar technologies. For example, you can use controls in your Internet browser to limit how websites you visit can use cookies and withdraw your consent by deleting or blocking cookies.

Localstorage. The localstorage is used to store and track your preferences and settings, enabling you to log in, providing interest-based advertising from the search engine through which the application is being used.

You have several tools available to control the data collected by cookies and similar technologies. For example, you can use controls in your Internet browser to limit how websites you visit can use cookies and withdraw your consent by deleting or blocking cookies.

Protection and security. We verify accounts and activities, and promote security within and outside of our services, through the investigation of suspicious activity or violations of our conditions, as well as to ensure that our services are used legally.

Information shared by the CTiContRol® application. While using the CTiContRol® application, Calltech S.A. makes use of the information that is being distributed, as well as the recording of the conversations that are verified in each online dialing and when using the services, once the use of these services ends, the records will be defined and stored according to the configuration that you allow within the application, defining the permanence time of the same, as well as the right to request access to calls.

Contact list and others. Other users who make use of our services and with whom communications are maintained may store or re-share their information and data (including their phone number or messages) with others inside and outside our services. You can use the settings and other functions to decrease the availability of the information displayed by third parties.

Third party services. When using third party services that are integrated with our services, these third parties may receive information about what is shared. Keep in mind that when you use third-party services, their own conditions and privacy policies will govern the use of said.

Information management

If you want to manage, change, limit or delete your information, we allow you to do it through the following tools:

Services Settings. You can change the settings of our services to manage certain information available to other users. You can manage your contacts, groups and distribution lists, or use the lock function to manage the users with whom you communicate.

Legislation and protection. We may collect, use, retain and share your information if we believe, in good faith, that it is reasonably necessary to: (i) respond in accordance with applicable laws or regulations, legal processes or government requests; (ii) require compliance with our Conditions or any other applicable conditions and policies, including for investigations of potential infringements; (iii) detect, investigate, prevent and address fraud and other illegal activities or technical or security problems; or (iv) protect the rights, property and safety of our users.

Updates to our policy. We can modify or update our Privacy Policy. We will notify you of modifications to this Privacy Policy, as appropriate, and update the “Last Modified” date at the top of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use our services, you confirm your acceptance of our Privacy Policy, with any modifications. If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy and its modifications, you must stop using our Services. Please review our Privacy Policy.
